Temple of Mithras and Bloomberg tour, followed by drinks at the Guildhall Club

Join the Glaziers for an afternoon exploring two fascinating sides of the City: the mysteries of Roman London and the award-winning architecture of Bloomberg’s European headquarters. Afterwards, relax over a drink in the Guildhall Club’s Private Members Bar.

Discover London’s Roman past

Our visit begins at the Temple of Mithras, hidden beneath the streets of the modern City. Dating from the third century AD and rediscovered in 1954, this ancient temple offers a fascinating glimpse into Roman Londinium and the mysterious cult of Mithras.

Step inside Bloomberg

We will then tour Bloomberg’s European headquarters, designed by Foster + Partners and winner of the prestigious 2018 RIBA Stirling Prize. This remarkable building combines innovative architecture and sustainable design within the historic heart of the City.

Raise a glass at the Guildhall Club

Following the tour, we will make our way to the Guildhall Club’s Private Members Bar for a sparkling wine reception—a lovely opportunity to catch up with fellow Glaziers and reflect on the afternoon’s discoveries.

Your ticket includes one glass of sparkling wine or a soft drink. Additional drinks will be available to purchase at the bar.
