A Glaziers’ evening behind the scenes at The London Archives
Join fellow Glaziers for a special evening at The London Archives, exploring the records that tell the story of our capital and the people who shaped it.
We’ll begin with a welcoming glass of wine and time to catch up with fellow members, before stepping behind the scenes of this remarkable collection. Discover how historic documents are cared for, learn about the work of its state-of-the-art conservation studio, and meet knowledgeable staff who help preserve London’s past for future generations.
The evening continues with a specially curated display of historic documents, offering an opportunity to examine London’s history at close quarters. Bring your curiosity — and those questions about the City you have always wanted to ask!
For Glaziers, whose own traditions form part of London’s living history, this promises to be an evening with particular resonance.
