Master’s Residential Overseas Visit – Istanbul (Turkey)

Date: Wednesday 12 – Sunday 16 May 2027

We aim to take the attendees to places they have never seen before in the wonderful city of Istanbul and to expose them to the wonders of the traditional Islamic Art world. Attendees will be guided through historical sights to visit both the grandeur and the attention to detail and artistic creativity of the ancient, regional glass craft. Over 3 days, the attendees will have the opportunity to visit the city, visiting sites and artist’s workshops. We hope that attendees will be inspired to bring the art and artistic techniques into their own work and daily life. We will take a look at Iznik ceramics, traditional motifs, glass works and must- see historical locations. Each location, activity and artist we will visit has been hand selected for their accessibility, wonder and atmosphere.
