A Black-tie Dinner for Members and guests will be held at Glaziers Hall. During the Dinner, the annual rent of a piece of glass will be presented to the Landlords, ACAI.
The Master Glazier, John Reyntiens MBE, warmly invites you to attend. Enjoy a drinks reception, followed by a four-course dinner accompanied by carefully chosen wines. This Dinner is open to all members of the Company, and you are very welcome to bring family and friends.
We are pleased to announce that the speaker will be Dr Steve Bleay. Dr Bleay is Senior Lecturer in Forensic Science at London South Bank University, having previously worked at the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency on “stealth” materials that evade radar detection, and in the Fingerprint Research Group in the Home Office Centre for Applied Science and Technology. His research interests have centred on the different types of trace evidence that can be deposited on different surfaces. He also conducts assessments of fingerprint enhancement laboratories for the UK Accreditation Service. Later this month Dr Bleay is attending one of the Master Glazier’s stained glass workshops and hopes to reflect his interest in fingerprints in the creation of his panel. Dr Bleay is the Consort of the Master Constructor, Deborah Pullen.
