SPRING LIVERY DINNER

Monday 27 Apr 2026 6.15pm - 10.30pm

You are warmly invited to our second Livery dinner of 2026.

All Glaziers, Liverymen and Freemen, are most welcome to book, and we encourage you to bring family (especially younger relatives) and friends, to introduce them to the world of the Livery, and perhaps attend their first formal Dinner, and to introduce the Company to them. There will be a drinks reception followed by dinner accompanied by carefully chosen wines and port. The evening will finish with a stirrup cup.

Dress code: Black Tie, National Dress or uniform.

Our Guest Speaker will be Mark Charles Dickens

Mark Charles Dickens is a Great Great Grandson of the author Charles Dickens and Head of the Dickens Family, a position he is very honoured to hold.  He was centrally involved in the Charles Dickens bicentenary in 2012 as President of the International Dickens Fellowship.  For many years he was a regular guest at the annual ‘Dickens on the Strand’ festival in Galveston Texas where he performed readings of ‘A Christmas Carol’.  He is a Freeman of the City of London, the Vice President of the City Pickwick Club and is a past Chairman of Trustees of the Charles Dickens Museum.  An amateur genealogist he is responsible for maintaining Charles Dickens’ family tree.
